Shipping and Returns
We ship to countries all around the world. Given how many countries we ship to and the breadth of our product offerings, there are many factors that may affect the shipping of your order. Read the policies outlined below to learn more.
Orders are shipped pending stock availability. Please be sure to call prior to placing your order to ensure that your product is in stock. Stock availability is not posted on item pages.
Orders are not processed outside our normal business hours, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Pacific time. If you place an order on the weekend, it will be processed on the next business day.
Orders for product that is in stock are shipped within 1-2 business days from the date that the order is received. If you select an expedited shipping method, please call ahead to verify that product is in stock.
Astek Home offers products that ship from mills across the U.S. and abroad. Because of this, if you order multiple items in the same order, they may arrive at separately. This also applies to sample orders.
We use UPS to ship orders for product inside the United States.
The standard time for sample orders to be processed is 48-72 hours. During busy times of the year sample orders can be delayed up to two weeks. We will do our best to notify customers of any such delays.
Samples for print-to-order product are sent upon completion of the print, which can take at least 7 days.

- 2-Day Air
- Next Day Air (1 business day)
- Next Day Air Early (1 business day)
International Shipping Policy
We have partnered with a third party to service our international customers.
Once you have created your shopping Cart, choose the "INTERNATIONAL CHECKOUT" button. You will then be automatically transferred to a page where you will be provided with international shipping costs as well as duties and taxes for your shipment. Upon completion of your order, your credit card will be charged for the entire purchase. We will ship the goods to the third party distribution facility where they will process the order and transport the goods to your international address. There are no additional fees or registration processes with this service.
Our products have various cut-off times for expedited orders. For example, some products must be ordered no later than 10:00 AM Pacific time for them to be shipped out on the day the order is received. If you are placing an expedited order please verify that you are within the cut-off time to have your order shipped on the same day.
Print-to-order products including custom designs and items from our digitally printed collections including samples require at least 7 days to print before they are shipped. While we do our best to accommodate all requests for expedited print-to-order items, we cannot guarantee this due to printer queues and production schedules.
Back Ordered Product
Certain products have longer lead times due to shipping restrictions from overseas mills. If a product is not in stock in the United States, your order may require anywhere from 1-2 weeks to 8-12 weeks before it ships from our warehouse. While we do our best to notify customers of all back orders at the time we receive your order, orders may be delayed for circumstances out of our control including but not limited to inclement weather or production issues such as shortage of raw materials.
In the event that part of your order is out of stock, you may have the option to have the available portion of your order shipped before the remainder of your order is back in stock.
Returns & Refunds
Our goal is to provide the best quality product to all of our customers and to ensure they are happy with the product they receive. If you need to return any part of your order, we have outlined our protocol for returns including restrictions, fees, and necessary paperwork below.
Return Period & Fees
Returns are accepted only within 30 days from the date you receive your order from the courier. Please be sure to examine all product ordered within this time frame to ensure that you are satisfied with the quality of the items ordered.
Unless otherwise noted, all returns are subject to a 30% restocking fee.
Returns are only accepted on certain products. Please review the product pages to make sure that the product you have ordered is returnable. Restricted product includes but is not limited to the items listed below:
- Items sold by the yard or by the meter
- Print-to-order items including custom digitally printed wallcovering
- Samples of any kind
- Clearance or sale items
Returns are not accepted on any items that have been cut or installed on the wall. It is the responsibility of the person installing the wallcovering to inspect all product prior to installation to ensure that there are no defects. Once product is cut and/or installed on your wall, our liability for defective merchandise is waived.
Return Shipping Procedure
Returned product must be shipped back to astekhome.com by the customer. We do not issue call tags unless there is a manufacturer’s defect. Please be sure to ship your return to us with a courier that provides a tracking number in the event that the shipment is lost en route to our warehouse.
Shipping charges will not be refunded unless there is a manufacturer’s defect.
Returned product must be unopened in its original packaging with all appropriate labels.
No claims for labor will be accepted.
Refunds are issued within 30 days from the date that a return is received at our warehouse and will only be credit to the payment method originally provided.
We reserve the right to refuse a return.
